Book our venue

There is potential to book part of our premises for a variety of activities. Please contact us to discuss needs and availability.

Our main church building includes a kitchen and disabled toilet facilities. There are sliding doors between the hall and the lounge and the two areas can be booked together to provide a larger space. The kitchen and toilets are only accessible through the lounge. Tables as well as chairs are available if required. This building is usually free on Fridays and Saturdays and is for meetings only.

Our lounge is off the main hall and is suitable for smaller groups.  It has informal seating that can be re-arranged to suit your needs.  The kitchen and toilet facilities are accessible from the lounge.  It can be booked at the same time as the main hall if extra space is required. The lounge is usually free on Fridays and Saturdays and is for meetings only.

Our separate, newly renovated, sports hall (called The Well) has a small kitchen suitable for preparing drinks and snacks only. There are no cooking facilities. The Well is ideal for social activities and sports and is usually available during the week except for Thursday and Friday evenings, Saturday mornings and all day Sunday. Chairs and tables are available.
We expect that for social activities involving food you bring disposable plates etc and take everything home with you afterwards as we have limited disposal facilities.
Access is up an unmade sloping drive or concrete steps.  There is a small parking area adjacent to the building with flat access to the hall, but there is currently no disabled toilet in this building.

If you would like to make a booking for any of our rooms and equipment please contact us.

Prices below are for one-off hires. A discount is available for regular bookings.

Planning your Visit

Welcome

The following information is specifically for those new to us.  We hope it gives you an idea of the kind of people we are and what to expect from us when you visit.

Who are we?

We are a Baptist Church affiliated to the Baptist Union of Great Britain and we welcome anyone to come and worship with us and be part of our community.  You don't have to be a Baptist! More information on what we believe can be found on the About Us part of the site.

How to find us

Visit our Contact Us page for details.

Accessibility

Access to our site is up a steep concrete drive or up some shallow steps, and there is flat access to our main building from the car park.  There is a disabled toilet in this main building.  We don't have pews, so can easily move chairs to accommodate space for a mobility scooter or a wheelchair next to a carer.  Please let us know in advance if you need us to reserve space for disabled parking.

Our activities

Sunday Services

We meet in the main church building for our Sunday Service starting at 10:30am.  We extend a warm welcome to you if you want to join us.  More information about our Sunday worship, and what to expect, can be found here.

Midweek Meetings

These are an important part of our church life.  We hold several midweek bible studies and fellowship groups. We also have two monthly prayer meetings, one in the daytime and one in the evening.  More details can be found on the Small Groups and Prayer Meeting pages

Socials

We have an active social programme, posted on Facebook, now that restrictions have been lifted.
