Sunday Services

Our main church service is on Sunday at 10:30 am.

There is parking available in our main car park at the front of the church and also at the rear of the site near to our hall.  Parking is also available in nearby streets.

Our address is:
Hillary Road
High Wycombe
Bucks HP13 7RA

We are near the junction with Wingate Avenue.

Our Services

We are currently without a minister so services are mainly led by our own members, with a flexible format. We are grateful to visiting speakers who share with us.

Services include worship songs, bible reading, prayer, times of sharing and/or quiet reflection and a message, often with video material, PowerPoints and more. We welcome contributions from those attending but this is not obligatory!

We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month and we encourage anyone who has responded to God's work through Jesus to participate.

What about children?

We provide packs with a variety of activities to suit different ages for children to complete during the service.  We also have some children's bible versions, such as the Minecraft Bible, for you to borrow.  Your children can stay with you where you are sitting, or they can go to our lounge area at the back of the church.  We are happy for them to wander round during the service provided you are keeping an eye on them, so don't worry if they don't stay in their seats.  Older children can stay in the lounge area on their own.

After the service

If you want to pray quietly, or ask someone to pray with you, you can come to the front of the worship area.  We ask that anyone not wanting to pray goes to our lounge where tea, coffee and biscuits are served from the kitchen hatch.  We can often stay around chatting until about 12:30, so do come and join in and get to know us.

Planning your Visit

Welcome

The following information is specifically for those new to us.  We hope it gives you an idea of the kind of people we are and what to expect from us when you visit.

Who are we?

We are a Baptist Church affiliated to the Baptist Union of Great Britain and we welcome anyone to come and worship with us and be part of our community.  You don't have to be a Baptist! More information on what we believe can be found on the About Us part of the site.

How to find us

Visit our Contact Us page for details.

Accessibility

Access to our site is up a steep concrete drive or up some shallow steps, and there is flat access to our main building from the car park.  There is a disabled toilet in this main building.  We don't have pews, so can easily move chairs to accommodate space for a mobility scooter or a wheelchair next to a carer.  Please let us know in advance if you need us to reserve space for disabled parking.
